Since your practice will be frequently using Patient Rewards Hub, you might find it useful to create a shortcut on your desktop for quicker access. There are two ways to do go about this: Create application shortcuts with Google Chrome in Windows (recommended) If you use Google Chrome on a Windows operating system, you can use the 'Create application shortcuts' feature to create some great looking icons for the Patient Rewards Hub:. Click the Chrome menu Chrome menu on the browser toolbar. Select Tools. Select Create application shortcuts. In the dialog that appears, choose where you'd like the shortcuts to be placed on your computer. Click Create.
When you double-click a shortcut icon, the app opens in a special streamlined window that doesn't display tabs, buttons, the address bar, or menus. To access common page options, click the page logo in the top left corner of the window. Drag and drop from any web browser When you open your browser (i.e. Safari, Firefox, Google Chrome), you will see a site icon or a security icon next to the web address in the URL bar. It will look something like this: Google Chrome Firefox Safari Internet Explorer Click the logo or security lock icon and drag it onto your desktop. An icon like this will appear: Double-clicking on this link will take you straight to the URL you copied from your browser.
If you'd like to rename the link, click on it once to highlight the entire icon. While it's highlighted, click on the text to only highlight the text. After you've finished entering your text, click 'Enter' or click away from the icon.
